Timing matters in Minnesota
Spring-flowering shrubs set next year's buds soon after they bloom, so cutting them in autumn removes the flowers before they open. Oaks should not be pruned April through July because of oak wilt. We work to the plant's calendar, not the convenient one.
What changes the price
The listed price is per visit for typical residential shrubs and small trees. Large-canopy work and anything needing a climber or a lift is quoted per tree.
